Michael Kawaharada joined Englekirk in 1979. His projects are diverse both in scale and type, working with Architects, Builders, Developers, and fellow consultants to find economical and appropriate solutions to structural problems for both new and rehabilitation projects. Recently completed projects include a range from the 35-story Allure Waikiki to the 300,423 square foot Windward Community College Library and Learning Resource Center.
In addition to the broad range of projects he has designed, Mr. Kawaharada is also a past lecturer at the University of Hawaii School of Architecture where he taught the course "Advanced Structural Design in Architecture".
