Russell Tanouye joined Englekirk in 1981. During his history with the firm he has developed extensive experience in the design of various types of structures including steel, prestressed concrete and cast-in-place concrete, and wood. Key projects include the Pacific Design Center – Red Building and Hollywood & Highland, Kodak Theatre - Home of the Academy Awards.

Mr. Tanouye is a LEED AP and practices a holistic approach for LEED certification through effective collaboration with the owner, architect, and other consultants to develop a structural system that can assist the team towards LEED certification.
