The Housing Expansion Project for California State University, Fullerton is an addition to the existing campus that included 5 four-story residence halls with 22 units per hall, one-story common buildings including maintenance, administration and bike storage structures and the remodel of the existing Cobb Hall. The residence halls were designed with four-story plywood shear panels to resist seismic loads and 2x wood joists for the typical gravity floor system.
