We used post-tensioned concrete slabs to efficiently support the balconies that help establish the architectural character of this project. Concrete shear walls do double duty resisting earthquake loads and supporting the roof and floor slabs. We worked closely with the architect, owner, and the contractor during the design and construction phases to ensure a successful project.
