The Loews Coronado Bay Resort, located on a man-made island, has 450 rooms and features a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. The complex features a variety of construction materials, which included ductile moment frames and two-way post-tensioned slabs, long span steel roof trusses, and conventional framed wood construction over a post-tensioned slab. The 430,000 square foot hotel features bayside cabanas as well as ballrooms and meeting rooms.
