The Villa Verona site consists of three 5-story Type III modified wood buildings inter-connected with enclosed bridges. One of the buildings extends 350 feet along Wilshire Boulevard and is on top of one level of retail. The podium is one level above grade.

To minimize shrinkage, truss joists were used for floor framing in the first 2-levels and sawn lumber in the upper three levels. Concrete shear walls in combination with concrete moment frames were used to laterally support the podium level 18 feet above the street level.
