The Wilshire is a 27-story tower featuring luxury condominiums with 3-levels of subterranean parking. The structural design of the building had to contend with the construction difficulty of a particularly tight site. As a result, a portion of the parking was designed to be constructed in concrete so that it could be used as a storage and staging platform for the erection of a steel tower and the remainder of the subterranean parking levels.
