Landmark Square is a 1,000,000 square foot development which consists of a 25-story, 800,000 square foot office tower and parking, as well as 3 subter-ranean levels for additional parking. There is also an adjoining 6-level post-tensioned parking structure with a rooftop landscaped garden. In order to minimize curtainwall cost and maximize the number of floor levels, the structure was designed for 12 foot, 6 inch floor heights with 8 foot, 10 inch ceiling heights. Despite the short floor heights, the resulting design for the structural steel was an economical 17 pounds per square foot.
