The new three-story enclosed regional shopping mall replaced an outdated one-level outdoor shopping center. The first two levels of the 620,000 square foot structure consist of retail tenants plus a large food court area. The third floor is used exclusively for a six screen theater. Exposed steel joists and custom trusses over the public space were used to add architectural interest as well as providing support for the roof and skylights above. Clearstories on the southwest side of the mall provide significant natural light to the mall, without excessive heat.
