Situated between two highrise towers in downtown Los Angeles is Seventh Market Place, a unique sunken mall which was designed as an infill between the two towers. This three-level sunken mall features concentric rings of storefronted balconies and planters. Interspersed in this area are several open steel,
multi-level latticework kiosks. Overhead, a spectacular 200 foot diameter steel trellis supported on six symmetrically placed columns serve as a roof “enclosure” for this mall.
