At Americana at Brand, a building permit was required for an outdoor temporary concert stage.  We were asked to perform a structural analysis that addressed Building Code issues such as Wind Loads and Seismic Loads.  We were able to perform the analysis on the vertical truss towers and overhead lighting grids, and made several recommendations for ensuring that the temporary installation was structurally code compliant.

A short time schedule mandated that we quickly research the prefabricated truss components and connections, and then perform the required analysis to arrive at the most economical solution for the stage and lighting rigging.  The truss components were fabricated by Tower Structures, a well known lighting truss manufacturer.
