Adding to the DTLA housing boom, 281 more residential units designed by TCA Architects, Inc. are coming to the Financial District at Olympic & Hill. Our structural design of the mixed-use development includes 16,000 square feet of retail space and 5 levels of light framed residential over 2 residential and retail concrete podium levels. The massive 300,000-square-foot project rests on 2 levels of concrete, below grade parking. Englekirk worked with the client to develop custom tieback assemblies for façade access and window washing tieback systems that reduce cost and installation time. As a result of the success of Olympic & Hill, several clients have elected to use the same window washing tieback detail on similar mixed-use wood over podium developments.
