University of California, San Diego McGill Hall Column Repair & Seismic Upgrade

McGill Hall, considered a historic structure on the campus, is a one-story, 1960s exposed concrete structure with classrooms and connecting bridges between McGill Hall and the adjacent buildings. Severe rebar corrosion in concrete columns, slabs, and curbs required repair and seismic upgrade. Englekirk developed and completed a survey of the existing conditions along with the proposed reconstruction of deteriorated columns.
