Los Angeles, CA | six 2 and 4 stories | 60,000 sq ft

The Pico-Garnier Blocks Rehabilitation included the revival of a Romanesque building built in the late 1800s for the city’s Chinese immigrant community that shared acreage with Olvera Street and the Italian immigrant quarter near where Union Station now stands. The Garnier building was Chinatown’s unofficial headquarters. Our firm designed the rehabilitation of the historic structure into the current headquarters of the Chinese American Museum.
