Culver City, CA | 4 stories / 124 units | 86,000 sq ft

Partnering with the City of Los Angeles, Thomas Safran and Associates replaced a vacant lot at Culver and Inglewood Boulevards with a place that “offers luxury, affordable housing for low-income and homeless seniors” by realizing Del Rey Square Senior Housing which is a 86,000-square-foot, 4-story residential senior living building of 124 units. The 3 levels of living quarters sit on a 1-level podium above grade parking level for 104 cars. 4,500 square feet of community areas are at ground and podium levels with 20,500 square feet of open space provided for the residents where they can enjoy a gym, jacuzzi, library, and participate in educational workshops.
