The South Park megaproject Oceanwide Plaza adds three new luxury towers to the downtown Los Angeles skyline. The 2,408,372-square-foot development is comprised of a 51-story hotel and condominium tower, two 40-story condominium towers totaling 340 units and a 9-story podium with 2 levels retail and 5 levels of parking for 924 cars over 2-levels of subterranean parking for 514 cars.

The development boasts a five-star hotel branded by Roberto Cavalli and 200,000 square feet of covered, open-air shopping mall. Residents can also enjoy outdoor space including a dog park, playground, and jogging track.

Our approach in utilizing Performance Based Design in our structural design results in a better performance of the structure during a major earthquake, while at the same time producing a more cost-effective product
