Pasadena, CA | 6 stories | 175,000 sq ft

The Pasadena Courthouse is a 6-story building with a basement. The project involved structural repairs to the superstructure of the courthouse addressing damages to the building during the 1994 Northridge Earthquake. The repairs addressed structural concerns brought about in a FEMA evaluation report, with repairs consisting of general crack injection of concrete structures with epoxy resins and carbon fiber reinforcement of damaged concrete shear walls. Additional scope of work included the addition of several ramp structures to address ADA requirements.
