Plaza la Reina is a 6-story building consisting of 5 levels for residential use over 1 level of retail, with 4 levels of subterranean parking. The building’s structural framing consists of metal stud that is supported on a cast-in-place podium deck. The above podium structure has been seismically braced with a light gage sure board shear wall system. The tight headroom and clearances in the individually unique residential floor plans added to the complexity of our structural design.
