The PS1 Pluralistic School Seismic Retrofit and Expansion consists of a 2-story, 9,500-square-foot addition to the elementary school located in Santa Monica, California. The expansion project consisted of two phases. Phase I included a seismic retrofit of the existing 2-story Buffalo Building including an addition to the first floor, a walkway, and a stairway to the second floor. Phase II consisted of construction of a new 2-story, 3,600-square-foot Administration Building with a mezzanine and a new Multi-Purpose Building. A sky bridge integrates the expansion with the existing campus.
