San Luis Obispo, CA | 4 stories | 68,000 sq ft
This project consisted of the seismic rehabilitation of the County Courthouse in San Luis Obispo which was originally constructed as three separate structures. Exterior shear walls were utilized to correct the seismic deficiencies with minimal work on the interior of the building to facilitate connecting the three structures. Exterior shear walls permitted the building to remain in operation during construction, minimizing the number of staff being relocated.
