The Bicycle Casino Hotel is a 99-key hotel with a nightclub, plaza deck, pool, spa and saunaat the second level. The hotel is a 7-story structural system with a 2-story concrete podium structure where lateral framing is comprised by special concrete and masonry shear walls. The gravity framing consists of a two-way conventional concrete slab, concrete beams and concrete columns. The upper structural framing above the podium construction consists of 5 stories of ConXtech framing used for a lateral and gravity supporting system. In addition, the lateral structural system along the short direction has two special steel moment frames utilizing RBS type prequalified connection detailing. The typical floor deck consists of composite metal deck and filled with light weight concrete. A new porte cochere was also added to accommodate the remodel of the existing casino function space.
