Originally designed as a garage for the Huntington family’s cars and as living quarters for the staff, the Carriage House is an adaptive reuse into a new venue for traveling shows of American and English art, rare books and manuscripts. The existing structure was transformed into an exhibition area with additional facilities for meetings and educational programs and retail.
