The Shops at Mission Viejo completed a renovation and expansion of their existing 2-story mall in order to reinvigorate into a destination retail center. The redevelopment included the conversion of an existing Montgomery Wards store into mall space, a rework of the entire mall common area, and two additional parking structures. New floor and roof openings, wall removal, new escalators and elevators turned the mall into a showpiece for the region.
