Originally constructed in 1929, the Memorial was due for a face-lift. Plans for the facility contemplated the complete demolition and rebuilding of the structure except for the original façade. This solution required the installation of new concrete piles as well as the complete rebuilding of the bleacher structure.

Our firm evaluated the feasibility of repairing the original structure. Using the latest techniques in concrete repairs, the original bleacher structure and façade were restored to “near original” condition. Without complete demolition of the bleacher structure, the original “wood” pile foundation was retained.
