Los Angeles, CA

As an effort to combat Veteran homelessness in Los Angeles, Century Housing, Thomas Safran & Associates, and U.S. Vets deemed The Veterans Collective (TVC) teamed up to create the largest supportive housing community for homeless and at-risk veterans and their families.

The 900-unit permanent housing campus in West Los Angeles is composed of eleven modular buildings hosting a variety of studio, one-and-two-bedroom apartments and multiple community enrichment centers. New construction and the adaptive reuse of existing buildings onsite blend housing, recovery centers, and other community engagement and support areas for its residents.

Englekirk was responsible for the seismic upgrades of the following buildings:

  • Building 207, 3-story, 60-unit, 45,777 SF
