One of our Englekirk teams decided to gear up for a day of paintballing a few weeks ago. The cuts and bruises were worth the lesson in strategy and communication. It was a great team building activity!
Robert F Kennedy Community Schools – Throwback Thursday
It’s been 8 years since the doors of Robert F Kennedy Community Schools opened on the historic Ambassador Hotel site. We collaborated with Gonzalez Goodale Architects and Hensel Phelps to realize the 433,839-square-foot, 4,234-seat, K-12 Community Schools development.
Los Angeles Tall Buildings Structural Design Council
Kudos to three of our engineers for presenting the design of our Century Plaza Hotel project at last week’s Los Angeles Tall Buildings Structural Design Council 2018 Conference. Our team described the seismic retrofit of the historic Century Plaza Hotel and performance based design (PBD) of the twin towers. Way to go team!
Cinco De Mayo Potluck & Ping Pong Championship
Our LA office celebrated Cinco De Mayo a few days early this year with our annual potluck yesterday! There was plenty of food to make for a great fiesta and an exciting Ping Pong Championship for entertainment!
